There is no account and no email capture anywhere on this site. The assessment and the checkers run in your browser to produce a result. That said, visiting any website involves some data by its nature, and the sections below describe, honestly, what that means here: the analytics we use, the host that serves the pages, the fonts we load, and the third parties some links lead to.
We do not ask you to create an account, and there is no email field, no sign-up, and no mailing list anywhere on the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not run advertising networks or cross-site ad trackers on our pages.
The assessment and the affordability calculator run in your browser and produce a result there. The facility, home care, hospice, and hospital checkers send the parts of your search that Medicare needs (your ZIP code, which resolves to a state, and the type of provider) to a small relay we operate on our host, which forwards them to Medicare's public data service and returns the results. That relay handles your search filters only; it is not sent your assessment answers. Your ZIP is converted to a state in your browser before anything is sent, so what actually reaches the relay, and the standard request logs our host keeps, is the state and the provider type, not your full ZIP.
Some tools offer a "copy link" or share option. When you use it, your answers or the facilities you pinned are encoded inside the link itself so the page can rebuild the result. Anyone you send that link to can open it and see what it contains, so share it only with people you intend to. Separately, the tour scorecard and the text-size and contrast controls use your browser's local storage to remember your entries and preferences on the device you are using; clearing your browser data removes them.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. To do that, Cloudflare processes limited technical information about your visit, such as the page you viewed, the referring page, and general device and browser type. It is designed to work without cookies and without tracking you across other websites, and it does not build an advertising profile of you. This site is hosted on Netlify. Like essentially all web hosts, Netlify automatically records standard technical request logs, which can include your IP address, the time of the request, and the page or file requested. These logs support security, troubleshooting, and reliability, and are handled under Netlify's own terms and privacy policy.
Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver a font, Google receives the request for it, which includes your IP address, under Google's own privacy policy. This is standard for sites that use Google Fonts, and it is used to serve the font, not to identify you to us.
