About GoCheckMyParents

Free tools for the moment you realize a parent might need help, built to give you clarity before anyone tries to sell you anything.

This website is operated by Go Check My Brands LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. Contact: hello@gocheckmyparents.com.

Why this exists

Most people start researching senior care in a hard week: after a fall, a diagnosis, a phone call that didn't sit right. What they find is a wall of lead-generation sites that want a phone number before they'll say anything useful. GoCheckMyParents takes the opposite approach: the guidance comes first, and it's free.

What we are and aren't

Privacy promise

There is currently no email capture anywhere on this site.

The "Copy link to your results" button is how you save or share a result: your answers are encoded inside the link itself, so you can bookmark it or text it to a sibling, and opening it re-renders the result. The Facility Checker and Home Care Checker pull Medicare's public facility data (from the CMS Provider Data Catalog at data.cms.gov) through a small relay we run that passes along your search filters, like a state or facility type.

We use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate site traffic. It does not use cookies or track you across sites.

Built so your parent can use it too

Look for the A button in the bottom-left corner on any page. It enlarges the text (A / A+ / A++) and turns on higher contrast, and it remembers your choice as you move around the site. We built it because the person the decision is about often wants to read this themselves, and a lot of senior-care sites are unreadable at arm's length. It pairs with the "for myself" path in the assessment.

How the site is funded (affiliate disclosure)

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you use one and end up purchasing or requesting a quote, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This is how the site stays free. Two guardrails keep it honest: the assessment result is deterministic (the same answers produce the same guidance for everyone, and no partner can change it), and crisis results always lead with safety guidance before any offer. Facility quality data, when shown, comes directly from Medicare.gov Care Compare, and we present it with sourcing.
