The comparison on the checker shows the headline numbers side by side. A full report would go further, and this page describes exactly what it would contain.
What the report would contain
- The complete inspection history for each facility you selected, not just the most serious findings, with every citation in plain language and the date it was recorded.
- Registered nurse and total nurse staffing hours per resident per day, set against the state and national medians, so a number has something to mean against.
- Cost context for your area, so the quality picture and the money picture sit on the same page.
- The questions worth asking on a tour of each specific facility, drawn from what that facility's own record shows.
- All of it compiled as one PDF you can save, print, and send to the rest of the family.
What it would not be. Educational information drawn from public CMS data, the same records the checker already shows you. It would not be a recommendation, a rating of our own, or an evaluation of any facility, and it would not tell your family where to place your parent.
